We've been glued to the final few dots sending 'power' vibes out to the legs of the teams still out there biking their way back to the finish and racing against diminishing time left on course. It's been exciting and heartbreaking to know that a few teams came so close to getting here before the cut-off.

Whether or not they made it across the line in an officially ranked way, we know that these teams have squeezed every last ounce of adventure, teamwork and energy out of each and every part of their physical and mental bodies to do what they did. If you've never done a race like this it's hard to completely wrap you head around what this means, but if you know, you know. If you don't know and you want to, it will be one of (if not the) hardest thing you ever do and (I think) one of the most rewarding.

Please make sure you tell all the racers out there - finishers, retired teams, almost ranked teams - just how truly difficult what they did was. There's been a lot of prep and training that went into it and we sincerely hope they all walk away tired, but (once type 2 happy memories kick in) having had a great time that delivered and left great stories.
