We're closer to sunrise than sunset at this point and teams are still pushing their way through the course in the darkest part of the night. Our back of the pack is still chugging along on the paddle. Our last team (W.I.L.D) is about to reach CP9 where volunteers are waiting for them with warm beverages and lots of encouragement.
