Back of the Pack - Conga, the Sequel
The conga line continues its way toward the back of the pack as most of our teams are out on the water on the paddle leg. This ground is on the water, but hasn't quite made it to CP9 (where warm welcomes and drinks await with Tim, Richard, Aubrey & Neil). Teams toward the back of the pack continue to make good time on the water and (like the mid-pack) are facing additional challenges with dropping temperatures and limited visibility. The full moon tonight is definitely a boon (yes, I meant for that to rhyme) to the teams regardless of what section they're on tonight.
We're seeing movement within the ranks, and we'll see how well teams continue to move in the dark - those sleep monsters will start to claim some victims and it will get far harder to gauge those distances ("it feels like we've gone far enough" will be a mantra and a potential pit fall).
Here's where the back of the pack stood at 20:57
