Front Runners

We have our top teams coming into TA3 where they'll transition from paddle to trek. There's a distinct gap near the front, but there's still lots of time for things to shift as teams head back out on foot. In the dark (what was it we said about night nav?).

Here's where things stood at 20:26 at the front of the race!

Mercators AR and Peninsula Mountain Bike Club are VERY close and I'm sure they can see the headlamps of the other team from time to time, keeping the pressure high to keep the pace up. Beowulf isn't too far behind, close enough that they could easily catch the top two teams up in the coming hours. There's quite a gap between Beowulf and another trio of teams - RaidPulse, Spare Parts and Race Day Rush - solid teams clustered together and eager to push for a place on the podium.
