Front Runners - the gap grows

It's been a few hours since did a 'where are they now?' update on the front of the pack. So let's take a look, shall we?

Our top teams are well into the trek. The trek will eventually pop them out to a road and down to TA4 where they will hop back onto their bikes for the final discipline - a bike that will take them into the finish! That road section is an opportunity to run for our top teams in hopes they can maintain their place or, perhaps catch up and overtake someone else whose legs aren't feeling as fresh (AR shuffle anyone?).

Our top three teams charging ahead at the front of the race are Mercators (11), Peninsula Mountain Bike Club (13) and Beowulf (3). They are moving very well through the trek with a significant gap between them and the next group of teams in our top 10.

If we head just a little north on the map, we find the rest of our current 10 leading teams. The teams are moving very well through the trek, sticking to the estimated trek route south on their way out of the park. This group includes Spare Parts (17), GRIT Racing (7), Race Day Rush (49), Kinetic (10), Dad Reckoning (5), Great Lakes AR (6).
