A combination of a love of the outdoors and a fondness for getting lost in the woods has, despite their self-confessed poor decision-making skills, has brought this group of experienced adventure racing friends together again for the umpteenth time to race WT. Joe has jumped in to replace injured Mike with Derek, John, and Barbara. They’ll work through the challenges of physical exhaustion, keeping appropriate body temperatures, and navigating at night with a significant training regimen and constant team communications. Their positive attitudes are evident in their 2am thoughts of singing songs and taking care of one another. We’re pretty sure Joe’s tights and fashion sense are also very helpful out on course.
