Warm drinks and warmer welcomes

The veteran volunteers at remote CP9 (Boundary Lake) include experienced racers who know the value of a warm drink and always haul out supplies for coffee and soup. They paddle and portage their way out and make sure there's always something available to teams when they arrive.

Being remote, they couldn't send us photos, but we were told that the 'cafe at CP9 has been hoppin'. As teams continue through the CP and the temperature drops, we expect that warm cuppa will be a welcome moment for many racers.
