Wilderness Traverse is returning to the Parry Sound area on August 20-21, 2022. This 24 Hour adventure race is hosted annually in Ontario, Canada. Teams of three or four will navigate an unmarked course through rugged Canadian Shield backcountry using map and compass while travelling by foot, mountain bike and canoe. WT is known as one of the toughest team-based endurance challenges in North America. This year it will be based at the Charles W. Stockey Centre in Parry Sound. The course is kept secret until the day of the event. Teams will receive maps and instructions early on Saturday, Aug. 21 and will start racing from an unknown location at 10 am.
